Thank you for choosing to visit my home on the web. I have spent the last 25+ years of my career in the world of school library media services doing a job I absolutely love! I taught 14 years in an elementary classroom before I went into a school library media center. I went on to become a regional consultant for school media programs and staff development in northwest North Carolina and an adjunct professor of library science classes at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
There is nothing I enjoy more than traveling around the country sharing the practical solutions I have discovered and used effectively with other school library media specialists and public libraries through activities such as onsite consultations, workshops, extended staff development, and conference presentations.
